In June 2015, FIE was accepted as a member for The Irish Council For International Students (ICOS), an independent student rights organization advocating for the well-being of international students studying in Ireland. Leading the charge was FIE Dublin Resident Director, Karl Dowling.
FIE staff from our London Academic and Experiential Education, Senior Management, and Dublin teams attended and presented at the Global Internship Conference in Dublin, Ireland in June 2015. As leaders in the field, FIE shared the knowledge and expertise gained by utilizing London as a workplace and classroom for our students.
FIE’s second Student Global Leadership Conference took place in April 2015 in Kensington, London at the Imperial College Student Union. The conference explored the present and future nature of leadership in a world of inequality filled with complex and competing economic, social, and environmental dynamics.
FIE London students are eligible to apply for the 2017/2018 Association of American Study Abroad Programmes United Kingdom (AASAP/UK) Lord Acton Memorial scholarship.
