Genevieve joined FIE in 2009 as Resident Director for Ireland. She is ultimately responsible for the management and oversight of Irish programmes. Her responsibilities entail working with US partner institutions on direct enrollment programmes, as well as curriculum and bespoke academic programme design in Ireland. Genevieve coordinates and manages FIE’s Irish university partners, monitors and implements FIE strategic objectives in Ireland as well as oversees the management and supervision of all FIE academic programmes, student services, residential provision and extracurricular and cultural enrichment programming. Originally from the United States, Genevieve is an Irish specialist by training and has worked and lived in Dublin since completing her B.A. in History and Irish and European Studies from Cornell University. She possesses an M.Phil in International Politics from Trinity College, Dublin, where she also completed her junior academic year abroad. Prior to joining FIE, Genevieve worked in capital markets and investment real estate in both Boston and Dublin and for the US State Department at their American Embassy in Dublin.
