Originally from Scotland, James grew up on the south coast of England and also spent time living in Rhode Island before moving to London.
James completed his BA in Social Work Studies at Southampton before joining the NHS, where he was a Mental Health Specialist. He recently completed a course at Birkbeck University in Counselling.
James joined FIE in 2007 as the Residence Life Manager working alongside the Student Life Team. James is involved in all aspects of Residence Life and manages FIE’s Residence Life Supervisors. He lives in Manson Place, one of FIE’s student housing.
