Most major airports in the UK and Abroad will have information on getting to/from the airport on their websites. We recommend that you research your journey to the airport before you travel. This is particularly important if you have an early flight – the flight might be cheaper, but there may be fewer transport options to the airport at this time. LONDON AREA AIRPORTS
There are six airports serving the London area. It is very important that you know which airport you are flying from, how long it takes to get there, and your transport options at the time of day you intend to arrive/depart!
District Line to West Ham then change for the DLR
Top up your oyster card to get to zone 3
Circle/District Line to Victoria then change for Gatwick Express or Southern train service
Top up your oyster card to get to zone 9 or buy a ticket
Piccadilly Line to Heathrow Terminal 1, 2 & 3, Terminal 4 or Terminal 5
Top up your oyster card to get to zone 6
Piccadilly Line to King’s Cross St Pancras then change for East Midlands train service
Use oyster to King’s Cross St Pancras (no top up needed) then buy a ticket to Luton Airport Parkway
Circle Line to Liverpool Street then change for Abellio Greater Anglia train service
Use oyster to Liverpool Street (no need to top up) then buy a ticket to Southend Airport
Circle Line to Liverpool Street then change for Stansted Express train service
Use oyster to Liverpool Street (no need to top up) then buy a ticket to Stansted Airport
