Did your participation in study abroad enhance your professional career and/or worldview; and if so, how??: "Time abroad, with students being so far away from home in a new and different place, heightens the teaching experience and provides opportunities for bonding unlike those in a typical classroom.  I usually return from such an experience with a renewed enthusiasm for finding new ways to connect with students that deeply at home. Those "lightbulb" moments when you get to see students figure something out in the classroom are among the most gratifying in our profession.  Getting to see that happen with a student's worldview is even more so!  If that's not an enhancement, nothing is!."
