Dublin Resident Director
Genevieve Judson-Jourdain joined FIE in 2009 as Resident Director for the Dublin program. Originally from the United States, Genevieve has worked and lived in Dublin since completing her B.A. in History and Irish and European Studies from Cornell University. She also has an M.Phil in International Politics from Trinity College, Dublin. Prior to joining FIE, Genevieve worked in investment real estate in both Boston and Dublin and for the American Embassy in Dublin.
Genevieve is responsible for academic planning and programme progression in Ireland and has various teaching responsibilities in conjunction with this. She also oversees administrative and student services in Dublin and is ultimately responsible for student welfare. Genevieve handles all pre-departure communication; orientation; all cultural and co-curricular immersion opportunities and is available during the semester for the students to discuss any questions or problems they have as well as being available 24/7 in case of emergency.
