London Semester Course Description

International Trade

The course is designed to enable the students to understand the critical importance of the role of multinational decision-making and strategy with respect to trade issues. It examines major issues in international trade and commercial policy and uses real-world applications to derive and illustrate models of international trade.

The course covers rationales and benefits of international trade, protectionism, the political economy of commercial policy, international trade and development, and economic integration and world trade.
