INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL INSURANCE WITH HEALTH COVERAGE

London, Dublin, Barcelona, and Madrid  Amman

FIE is an appointed representative of Endsleigh Insurance Services Limited, which is authorized and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Students are covered by the Endsleigh group policy unless this coverage has been waived by their home institution.

Full information on the Endsleigh policy, including how to make a claim, can be found on our Insurance page.

Endsleigh coverage is in effect only for the dates of the program so you should not cancel any existing insurance coverage. Students are covered by the Endsleigh group policy unless this coverage has been waived by their home institution

As part of the program fee, Amideast provides medical and accident insurance for all students through CISI. In addition to medical insurance, CISI provides high-quality medical, political, and natural disaster evacuation coverage.

Once in the country, Amideast program staff will help students deal with medical issues should they arise. They have a list of recommended providers and hospitals both in the host city and in areas visited on excursions as well. Amideast maintains a list of private clinics and doctors, and the staff is available to provide students with recommendations as needed.

MENTAL HEALTH PROVISION

FIE’s team is typically the first point of contact for students with concerns. FIE works closely with psychotherapists and counselors. For more information or to make an appointment:

EMERGENCY INCIDENT RESPONSE PLANNING

FIE is committed to a prompt and efficient response to any incident that would impact the operation of a program. The Emergency Incident Response Plan is carefully reviewed on an ongoing basis by the Emergency Incident Review Group (EIRG). EIRG consists of senior managers and department heads and it convenes at least once a year. EIRG is also centrally responsible for communication strategy following a Major Critical Incident (MCI).

DISABILITY AND ACCESSIBILITY POLICY

FIE is committed to a comprehensive policy of Equal Opportunity.

FIE supports the social model of disability and recognizes that environments, services, and facilities may be either “enabling” or “disabling” and therefore accommodations may be necessary in order to allow for full access to FIE programs.

Applications from students with disabilities are welcomed and any necessary accommodations will be handled on an individual case-by-case basis.
