For Study Abroad Advisors and Campus Fraternity/Sorority StaffGreekConnect is a series of extra-curricular activities offered as part of FIE’s fall and spring semester programs in London. The activities encourage fraternity/sorority members to expand their interest beyond their community to include an international dimension and, in particular, encourage men to link their fraternity experience to an international academic internship. As part of their FIE study abroad program, GreekConnect students gain new insights into the roots of the modern Greek community on US college campuses through interactive discussions and tours in London and Oxford.
The goal of this site visit is to provide study abroad and fraternity/sorority staff the opportunity to experience FIE’s GreekConnect activities first hand and to see FIE London operations (classrooms and housing) in action.
Included in the site visit program are:
- Hotel accommodation in South Kensington (3 nights)
- Meals during GreekConnect activities
- Admission and transportation costs for GreekConnect activities
- Visits to United Grand Lodge of England, British Museum, and University of Oxford
We encourage you to share this opportunity your fraternity/sorority staff and possibly travel together to London.
In addition, as a ‘pre-visit experience’ FIE invites you to arrive early and participate in our Student Global Leadership Conference (SGLC), Friday night through Sunday. If you choose to add this option on, FIE will waive your SGLC registration fee and cover the cost of your accommodation on Friday and Saturday nights. Check out the London SGLC Visit page for more information.
