Christian Schnee has lectured in politics, public affairs, and political communication at British Universities since 2008. Prior to that, he held positions as a political consultant and senior civil servant in Germany. As a student in England, Scotland, and the USA he earned degrees in politics and history as well as education and completed a doctorate in political marketing at the University of Hull. His research in political history, the management of reputation and leadership has led to the publication of six books and a dozen articles and research papers. Currently, he is working on a biography of Friedrich von Beust, a 19th-century statesman who served as Chancellor and Foreign Minister in the Austrian Empire.
