Joseph Bamidele, PhD
Originally from Nigeria, Joseph completed his BSc in Economics at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife; and MSc at the University of Ibadan. He won a special Cambridge Commonwealth Scholarship to study for MPhil at the University of Cambridge. He Completed his PhD at the University of London (Royal Holloway). Joseph is a Fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth Society.
Before coming to FIE Joseph had taught a range of modules across Economics, Finance, and Business related fields at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They include: Principles of Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Mathematics for Economists, Context and Regulatory Framework of Business, Investment Appraisal, Financial Analysis, Economics of Finance and Investment. Joseph worked with the University College London on the UCL’s international programme at Nazarbayev University in Kazakhstan. He also worked at the University of Greenwich, University of Reading, University of Kurdistan-Hewler, School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) and Royal Holloway, University of London. Joseph was a visiting fellow at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA.
