Administrative Coordinator, FIE London

FIE is currently seeking qualified, enthusiastic and confident applicants for the following full-time, permanent position within the Administration Team.

Job Title: Administrative Coordinator

Location: London, England

Salary: £23,000 - £24,000 gross, per annum

Start Date: Tuesday 8th January

Please note that this role requires flexibility, including evening work (e.g. 1:30 – 9:30 pm) during Spring and Fall semesters, as well as changeable hours throughout the year.

Job Summary: The Administrative Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and developing FIE’s Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), as well as advising on e-learning strategy and development. They will maintain and develop all aspects of FIE’s feedback system, and assist with maintaining our information management platforms. The Administrative Coordinator will also perform front office duties, including classroom assistance in the evenings during the semester, and lead on or support the organisation of events on FIE’s Kensington Campus.

Key Qualifications/Experience:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Experience of working with Virtual Learning Environments
  • Experience using Survey Monkey or other web-based survey solution platform
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment with students and/or in customer-service

Required Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrable efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proven time management, administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and to meet set deadlines

Chief Marketing & Recruitment Officer, FIE London

FIE is currently seeking highly qualified, competent and conscientious applicants for the following full-time, permanent position within the Institutional Relations Team.

Job Title: Chief Marketing & Recruitment Officer (CMRO)

Location: London, England

Salary: Up to £75,000 gross, per annum (dependent on experience)

Start Date: Latest 8th January 2019

Job Summary: The Chief Marketing & Recruitment Officer will be responsible for leading, inspiring, directing and developing FIE’s Institutional Relations Team based in the US, and the Communication Team (Comms) based in the UK. They will need to develop strategic marketing plans for FIE that directly align with FIE’s mission, vision and overall strategy. Other responsibilities include:

  • Providing competitive and market intelligence assessments to inform senior leaders of significant Higher Education/Study Abroad trends and direction
  • Raising market awareness, generating sales leads, gathering competitive intelligence & strategic differentiation
  • Developing a strong marketing & branding strategy to include content, communications & market positioning, externally and internally

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, business or a related field
  • Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent
  • Significant experience in sales management, marketing and business development in US Higher Education and/or Study Abroad
  • Proven track record of success at a senior level of increasing enrolments with some significant experience in Higher Education and/or Study Abroad
  • Effective communication and influencing skills, strong leadership, collaboration, project management, and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to interpret and draw conclusions from data, turning analytic insights into business actions
  • A thorough familiarity with and understanding of American culture and a love of travel to the United States
