Did your participation in study abroad enhance your professional career and/or worldview; and if so, how?: "It created the opportunity to make London the primary laboratory for educating. In doing so, my teaching became more directly tied to finding those immediate, useable connections for students. The “classroom” time became dialogues centered on the ways in which we could unpack the varied nationalistic, cultural and historical issues found within the context of plays/performances. The world became smaller – allowing me to develop connections to people and places only previously seen from afar; instead of theoretical exposure, I have found tactics to bridge ideas into palpable “all encompassing” opportunities. It has created a stronger sense of a global mindset that continues to this day in the type of work or research I pursue."
