Emma obtained her BA in Applied Languages from the University of Limerick, focusing on Irish, French, and Spanish. During her program, she spent time studying in both France and Spain, as well as teaching English to Spanish students for several months. Following her degree, Emma spent a year in Washington, D.C. as a Fulbright scholar, and taught the Irish language to university students at the Catholic University of America. Emma's time in D.C. furthered her interest in the world of politics and prompted her to enroll as a student of MSc in International Politics at Trinity College Dublin.
In her spare time, Emma enjoys playing Irish music and has obtained a diploma from the London College of Music.
