Shahram brings a rich academic background and a genuine passion for student development and international education to FIE. Originally from San Francisco, he moved to Pakistan and holds a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Sociology from the Lahore University of Management Sciences in Pakistan, and a Master of Science in Psychology with Distinction from Middlesex University, London.
His academic journey across multiple continents has given him a first-hand appreciation of the challenges and rewards of navigating different educational systems, an experience he brings with him to supporting FIE's international students through their own transitions. Prior to this, Shahram worked as a Career Counsellor supporting students through internship placements, university applications, and career planning, as well as in teaching and student-facing roles across both Pakistan and the UK.
Outside of work, Shahram is a dedicated martial artist and has a keen interest in psychology, particularly sports psychology and the mental dimensions of performance and resilience. If you get him talking about either topic, he can go on for hours!
