The Spring 2021 semester abroad experience was like no other. While Covid vaccinations in the UK were being rolled out at pace, restrictions on working patterns and mandatory store closures meant that students on-the-ground in London had to adapt to new changes while maintaining their studies.
For students taking FIE’s Photojournalism: London through the Lens course, the pandemic offered an opportunity to capture images of the city as it’s rarely seen or experienced – with restricted movement measures in place.
The work undertaken by three Elon University students has been curated into a digital online gallery titled 'CLIX' by faculty member and course instructor, Sam Bland.
