The Foundation for International Education (www.fie.org.uk) is an international higher education organisation working in partnership with universities and colleges, primarily from the US, to provide immersive study abroad programmes for undergraduate students in London, Dublin, and Amman.

FIE is currently seeking qualified, enthusiastic and confident applicants for the following full-time, permanent position within the Administration Team.

Job Title: Administration & Accessibility Manager
Location: London, England (on-site)
Salary: £28,000 gross, per annum
Start Date: 1st September, 2022

Job Summary: The Administration & Accessibility Manager (AAM) is tasked with overseeing the Front Office of our main teaching building and coordinating the high-quality delivery of services and ensure its efficient day to day running; coordinating preparations for arrival, registration and orientation of programs; assisting with and development of FIE’s Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle).  The incumbent will be responsible for delivering high quality and proactive guidance and support services to students with disabilities, physical or mental health concerns across locations.  The AAM leads on grade reporting and issuing of FIE transcripts.


Required Qualifications/Experience:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience of working in a busy office environment
• Experience of working with students and/or in customer-service
• Experience of working with Virtual Learning Environments and in-house databases

Required Skills:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrable efficiency, accuracy and attention to detail
• A flexible approach with the ability to learn quickly
• A friendly “can do” customer - relations disposition
• A professional and personable outlook
• Ability to be and work as part of a team (and an awareness of others even when not working directly with them)
• Ability to prioritise, work under pressure, and to meet set deadlines
