Abby has a master’s degree in Education, Public Policy and Equity from the University of Glasgow and a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy from the University of South Carolina. She is originally from North Carolina, United States. She has taught English as a second language both in Taipei, Taiwan and online while traveling through fourteen countries. Having previously worked at summer camps and in her university’s writing center, Abby has always enjoyed working with young people and helping them reach their full potential. During her time spent teaching, she also became interested in international education and the relationship between education and equity. Her master’s program allowed her to explore these areas and further situate her learning in an international context.
In her spare time, Abby loves to travel, read, browse used bookshops, go to concerts, play board games with her friends and explore London. She is also enjoying learning how to play guitar.
