Samuel Bland is a photographer, filmmaker, teacher, and artist. After studying the History of Film, Photography and Visual Media as an undergraduate, he spent much of his twenties working as a graphic designer before beginning to focus more intensely on his photographic practice, eventually going freelance as a photographer and teacher. After obtaining an MA (Distinction) in Documentary Photography and Photojournalism in 2010, he expanded his practice to include film. He has exhibited still- and moving-image work internationally, and has had work published in print and online publications around the world.
