Ivie Itua, originally from Nigeria, grew up in a town one hour from London. She moved to London in 2013 to start her higher education at Imperial College London, where she achieved a BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science. She is currently studying Medicine at University College London. Ivie enjoys helping people feel welcomed and takes pride in organizing fun-filled events that are varied and inclusive. Before joining FIE, Ivie supported home and international students as a Resident Advisor for 3 years. She has also worked in widening participation roles and mentored young people.
In her free time, Ivie loves to dance, read, try out new restaurants, travel, or generally keep active. Feel free to say hello when you see her; she would be delighted to answer any questions that you may have about your transition.
