Cliona O’Beirne is Chief Commercial Officer at DBS with over 20 years of experience in Higher Education and Partner Relations. Cliona has overall responsibility for the student recruitment function of the College including Domestic, European and International student recruitment and business development. Cliona has sat on numerous boards/groups over the years in relation to International Student Recruitment/ HEA Advisory Group for Springboard etc. She is also a member of the Admissions Officers Association of Ireland. Her educational background includes a BA (Hons) in Economics from University College Dublin (UCD), a Graduate Higher Diploma in Business, and a Masters of Business Studies (MBS) from Dublin Business School. Cliona has extensive experience in relationship management with corporate clients over the years including HEA, LIDL, Microsoft Ireland, and most recently Tusla and Harvey Norman. She oversees over 100 Institutional Partners globally on both new program development and study abroad programs at DBS and ensures all their needs and requirements are met. Many of the bespoke programs introduced in DBS have been led by Cliona. Cliona plays a key role in the DBS Senior Leadership Team.
