Kevin is the Director of the Center for Global Education at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University (CSB/SJU). CSB/SJU are nationally recognized for their study abroad programs, specifically faculty-led semester programming. Kevin was an undergraduate at CSB/SJU and participated in a semester study abroad program in China. After graduating from CSB/SJU, Kevin returned to China where he taught and managed an educational non-profit program for nine years. Since returning to the United States, Kevin has worked in international project management for a Fortune 500 company as well as the Carlson Global Institute at the University of Minnesota. Kevin joined the CSB/SJU Center for Global Education in 2017, where he is honored to support an education abroad program that had a major impact on his life’s trajectory. Kevin holds a Masters of Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota as well as a PhD in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development. His current research focus is on the efficacy of contemplative pedagogy and mindfulness on study abroad programs.
