The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated, supportive, and organised Programme Officer to join our team in Dublin. This full-time, permanent role, central to delivering an exceptional and well-rounded study abroad experience. You will play a key part in shaping students' journeys through academic, residential, and cultural programming, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.
Position Details
Job Title: Programme Officer
Location: FIE Dublin Office, The Liberties, Dublin
Salary: €30,000 - €35,000, depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Flexible

Role Overview
Reporting to the Resident Director, you will be central to the student experience in Dublin. Your role will involve:
⦁ Coordinating all aspects of the student journey, from orientation and cultural events to housing and welfare support.
⦁ Supervising and leading the Residence Life Supervisors team.
⦁ Ensuring a safe and supportive living environment by responding to student conduct and housing issues.
⦁ Supporting the internship placement process and building relationships with local partners.
⦁ Providing guidance and support to students on personal, academic, and practical matters.
Skills and Qualifications Required
⦁ Undergraduate degree (or equivalent professional experience)
⦁ Experience working in higher education, student support, or a related academic environment
⦁ Supervisory or team leadership experience
⦁ Knowledge of Dublin, Irish culture, and the wider local context
⦁ Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
⦁ Experience in event planning, programme delivery, or coordinating extracurricular activities
⦁ Proven ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks effectively
⦁ Flexible approach to working hours, including occasional evenings/weekends and participation in an on-call support rota
