The Foundation for International Education (www.fie.org.uk) is an international higher education organisation working in partnership with universities and colleges, primarily from the US, to provide immersive study abroad programmes for undergraduate students in London, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona and Amman.

FIE is currently seeking qualified, enthusiastic and confident applicants for the following full-time, permanent position within the Marketing Team.

Job Title:                 Marketing Assistant

Location & Hours:     South Kensington, London 9am-5pm (flexible working required, both in location and time, please refer to JD for further details)  

Salary:                         £22,000 to £24,000 gross, per annum (DOE)

Job Summary:

Working collaboratively with the Marketing team, you will take the lead in planning and implementing FIE’s social media and content strategy, which is determined by the evolving marketing and recruitment plan. The post holder will also play a key role in FIE led events, with particular focus on managing and executing email and social media marketing campaigns to support the recruitment and engagement of students.


The main skills and qualifications required for this job are:

  • Proficiency in MailChimp and Canva is required (essential)  
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud would be beneficial
  • Experience in email marketing, social media management and digital community engagement
  • Digital marketing or communications qualification, or equivalent
  • Ability to create engaging and relevant content for a student audience
  • Previous experience working as part of a team whilst being able to work independently
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Thoughtful and meaningful interpersonal communication skills
  • Attention to detail
