Jesse was born and raised in south London so didn't have to go too far to begin her studies at University College London in 2017 to study Medicine. Before working at FIE she was a student resident advisor for UCL and UoL students who came from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Whilst working as a RA she enjoyed organising creative events for students, fostering a caring and mutually supportive environment. At university, Jesse works as a mentor for widening participation in medicine and as an advocate for equity within healthcare. When she's not studying for finals, Jesse enjoys writing poetry, performing arts, and travelling.
