FIE is a proud Access Partner of the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) and shares its commitment to increasing the number of American college students studying abroad through scholarship provision. As a member of the FEA Access Advisory Board (AAB), FIE collaborates with partners, shares best practices in international education, and actively supports FEA’s mission.
FIE became an FEA Access Partner in 2018 and has since welcomed multiple FEA/FIE scholars. In this role, FIE has pledged support of up to $5,000 per academic semester for FEA scholarship applicants planning to participate in an FIE program. Students interested in FIE programs who meet the eligibility requirements must complete an application on the FEA website.
Applicants are automatically considered for all available FEA scholarships, both general and dedicated, based on the information provided in their online application.
Eligible Programs
- Any FIE London, Dublin, Madrid, Barcelona program during Spring or Fall Semester, or, Winter or Fall Quarter programs
- The FIE Conflict and the Struggle for Peace: Explorations in Ireland and the Middle East (+ Arabic study) summer program
- The FIE Borders, Mobility and Migration: Europe and the MENA (+ Arabic study) summer program
