Graham's career has blended academic interests with a range of management roles, including business consultancy, running a national charity, and NHS management. He has taught at the University of Oxford (politics), and the University of Reading (public law) and started with FIE in 2016, teaching business ethics as well as health care related topics. In 2024, Graham was delighted to receive the Dr Rajini Pani Outstanding Faculty Award from FIE. Graham's Doctorate, completed at Oxford University, considered public policy responses to lifestyle illness, within the framework of liberal egalitarian theories of justice. He has recently published (with Professor Kenneth Chambaere from Belgium) work on assisted dying in the Journal of Medical Ethics and in Health Policy and their book on this important subject for Bristol University Press was published in July 2026. Graham enjoys watching, playing, and coaching sports. He cycled the length of the River Rhine (765 miles) in June 2016, climbed Mount Kilimanjaro in August 2023 and nearly trekked to K2 base camp in Pakistan in July 2025.
