SGLC Scholarships 2026

Working in partnership with AIFS and the Cyril Taylor Charitable Foundation, FIE is proud to announce our range of scholarships to support attendance at SGLC 2026. As a values-driven community that is invested in making a difference, and our scholarships are designed to support a diverse range of students engaging with the event, both in person and virtually. We believe everybody should be able access the life changing benefits of studying abroad, and the various opportunities this brings. Our SGLC Scholarships give recipients the opportunity to build their own views, participate in a unique leadership conference and seek inspiration and motivation from diverse leaders. We believe that by inspiring and empowering YOU - the change makers of the future – can all enjoy a better tomorrow. Join us to make it happen! Scholarship applications open – Saturday, 1 November 2025

Scholarship application deadline – Monday, 2 February 2026

We will confirm successful applicants on a rolling basis, but no later than the end of February 2026.

Available Scholarships

SGLC Full Scholarship

Covers the cost of in-person conference registration, attendance at the opening reception on Friday, full attendance on Saturday, and two nights accommodation in central London
Open only to applicants/attendees based outside of London
Recipients will participate in a dedicated scholarship activity during the conference.
Application Requirements:
- In a pitch of no more than 500 words, outline your potential for leadership and your short and long term aspirations for yourself as a leader 
- CV
- Letter of recommendation

SGLC Day Delegate Scholarship

Covers the cost of in-person conference registration, attendance at the opening reception on Friday, and full attendance on the Saturday
Recipients will participate in a dedicated scholarship activity during the conference.
Application Requirements:
- In a pitch of no more than 500 words, outline your potential for leadership and your short and long term aspirations for yourself as a leader 
- CV
- Letter of recommendation

SGLC Online Delegate Scholarship

Covers the cost of online conference registration and virtual attendance.
Recipients will participate in a dedicated scholarship activity during the conference.
Application Requirements:
- In a pitch of no more than 500 words, outline your potential for leadership and your short and long term aspirations for yourself as a leader 
- CV
- Letter of recommendation

Exclusions

The following items are not covered by any of the SGLC Scholarships and remain the responsibility of the Scholarship recipient:

Associated travel costs
If applicable, meeting UK entry or visa requirements
Travel insurance
Personal expenses
